Unconventional Fabrics
19th and 20th March 2012

On this workshop we will work with unconventional fabrics such as bubblewrap, garden weed suppressant and baby wipes to create unique fabrics embellished with the mixed media techniques used by the experimental mixed media and stitch textile artist, Isobel Hall. All of the fabrics will be suitable for hand or machine embroidery or both. It is envisaged that the resulting fabrics will ultimately be made into book covers, bags or jewellery.
